Prior to Atlanta, Mitch Olson lived in Los Angeles for nearly a decade where he worked in Film/TV development as well as on shows for NBC, CBS, Fox, and Netflix. He's written and sold projects for major studios and production companies.
He moved to Georgia in 2018 and founded Point South Productions. It released its first feature film, Easter, Bloody Easter in 2024, and its second feature film, Signing Tony Raymond, released in theaters nationwide in January of 2026.
In addition to his work as a writer/producer, he is an Associate Professor of Screen and TV Writing at Kennesaw State University, and has developed curriculum for the Trilith Institute and the Georgia Film Academy.
